Next stop Villa 31: the politics of placing a subway station in a Buenos Aires slum | The Global Urbanist.

A polemical transport infrastructure project is being discussed in Buenos Aires. The underground would be extended and reach the Villa 31’s northern entrance. This project would imply major investment with a long-term legacy: namely the urbanisation of the Villa, subject of heated debates in the city.
